This project was a fusion of two different images overlapping each other. One a grassy plain with a tree stump in the center of the foreground, sporting thick roots. The other was a river front with a glacial background. The two placed over one another with an additional adjustment layer created a surreal, alien like setting. I took advantage of this and placed a bright white mask in the opening near the tree which I interpreted as a cloud.
